Following on from their Japan Water series, GroundWork Gallery is holding its second conference event centred on the theme of power. The conference will look at water’s raw kinetic potential, its exploitation as a political pawn and its relevance for communities. The purpose of this event is to discuss the subject from different perspectives from art, science and politics – and above all, the environment.
The event will feature a panel of speakers from a range of different subjects and disciplines, providing their varying perspectives, including our own Professor Simon Kaner on the impact of the 3/11 Fukushima disaster on heritage and archaeology.
More information is available on their website.
